Loose Islands Hot Sauce began with a simple pursuit: better hot sauce.

 

For years, we made out own because the sauces we found simply lacked what we were looking for. Too often, heat came at the expense of flavour.

 

We wanted more — character, depth, balance and bold flavour. Sauces that could elevate a meal rather than overwhelm it.

 

So we kept creating.

 

When our sauces began winning a friend’s annual hot sauce competition year after year — earning recognition for both heat and flavour — we realized we had something worth sharing.

 

That passion became Loose Islands Hot Sauce, a Calgary-based small-batch company focused on fresh ingredients, distinctive flavour combinations and premium sauces made to belong at the table.
